You said to post whatever I liked, so I suppose that I'll just sit here and rant about school//friends//family//stuff.

Hrrrr..

So school first. I'm a senior this year (yay.) and I've been messing around with my scheduling. It's so frustrating and I just want to pull my hair out. It's so stupid the things you have to go through just to get things done. Is it just me or are these book fees just ridiculous? I have to pay 32$ in textbook fees. Aren't TAXES supposed to be paying for this stuff? I understand art fees, but TEXTBOOK fees? Gimme a break. I have a family of five (step-mom[unemployed], Dad [disabled veteran], Myself, my little brother, and my step-brother) and we're all teenagers going to the same damn school, do they really think we can afford that crap?

I know there are waivers and government help that we can apply for, but we don't qualify because we just barely make it over that line. We're not poor, but a sort of lower middle-class. We get along pretty well most of the time, but sometimes we have to strain and squeeze to make it until the next paycheck.

Sucks, but we deal. It's alright. It could be worse.

I don't want a hard senior year. I don't. I'm lax and lazy as it is, I don't need my last year of high school to be horribly taxing. I just want to be able to make up an art portfolio for my college of choice and be happy with my other subjects. Is that soooo daaaamn unreasonable?!

I dunno, I guess so.

So, my bff jill//husband//waifu is liek totally my bffl and stuff, and like.. I only have one class with them and it's so completely totally lame, mmkay?

Besides, she's been going through a lot of shit lately. She's been staying with us on and off for about a week at a time, and it's sad. Her parents act like children, and she shouldn't have to mother her own parents. It's.. just a really crappy predicament.

..I dunno I kinda lost my train of thought. I guess it wasn't ver important, then.

i know somewhat how you feel, my dad has been unemployed for over a year- my mom has to work a second job every once and awhile. I have two siblings and we can't always afford everything, we're all in different high schools and my brother is going to be a senior this year, my little brother goes to special expensive private schools due to a learning disability and my school makes us pay for all our art supplies over the year as well (it just had to be my major right? >.< .

I mean, I'm not saying I get you completely but more like I get where you're coming from I dunno... I know I'm not going to make anything better with my words of reassurance but everything will work out I'm sure It's lame and you're probably tired of hearing it though.

It's just good to look on the positive side of things and be grateful for what you have. Sorry for my life/hippie rants though. Sometimes life is a bitch, but there's nothing we can do but overcome it you're probably tired of me by now and think I'm strange but I dunno It's just good to talk about the things that are bothering you, to get them off your chest, that way it seems as their not as heavy of a burden anymore... it feels good to share I guess...

I know this probably didn't help but I hope everything works out for you and you're friend. It's good to have someone to be there for you/you can be there for.

Well, my dad would work if he could. He just can't because the army broke his body really bad, and so, he can't. It's that lazy step-mother o' mine who needs to get a job. Honestly, if we have to pinch and pinch and go without, you'd think she'd get a clue...

Well, actually, I take that back. I know the reason why she won't get a job and it's petty and childish. She doesn't work to spite her son. Which is really really stupid on her part. Why make the entire family suffer to spite one person? ..Whatever. I'll get a damn job, then.

I'm very very grateful for what I have. I probably have a shit-ton of stuff compared to a lot of people. It's that ingrate of a step-brother and that lazy step-mother that I get agitated with. Really.. She's lazy, and he's an ingrate. I don't understand why my dad married her.. Oh well.. water under the bridge.

I know what you're trying to say, and I appreciate it. :3 How unfortunate for us, I guess. But we seem to make the best of it anyway, or at least I try to. Wallowing in self-pity never solves anything~ And besides, i hate it when people just complain and look at the bad things all the time. To do the same would make me a hypocrite.

Well it really sucks how people have to pay for the faults and bad qualities of the people around them, and while i'm not here to judge anyone (especially someone i don't know) that is a childish reason, she should be the bigger person and do what she knows is rght despite what anyone else would say or think.

i'm glad you take everything for the better and that we are not the unfortunate people who look at everything with a frown. i mean everything can be too much at some point but then you get it off your shest and move on, let the problem be solved over time and don't dwell on it. there are a lot of people worse off than us so, we should enjoy what we have because we're lucky
