YEYSSS The 15 de septiembreee is such a happy day for me. It's our national day here in Mexicoo. And it's awesome because of the food (TACOS ), fireworks, music, dances, and Mexican pride all over the world. And what we do here is 'Dar el grito'. Which is basically renact the moment when Hidalgo rang the bell of his church to gather up the people to fight for our Independence :') How about your country's? How do you celebrate it?

In the Marshall Islands, we celebrate near October during independence day from the United States! We have this huge festival that is island wide with fun activities and learning about the Marshallese culture. This includes learning about their navigation system (which is quite unique) as well as different foods, dances, and survival techniques. It's alot of fun, especially since I help out with alot of the activities every year.

Lol where here its July 4th. Our independance day. We have fireworks and parades and parties and bar-b-q's and stuff. Its just another excuse for everyone to celebrate but then again some people take it very seriously I guess... I dunno but i like food and fireworks >.<

Haauuu, where I live July 4th is a huge massive deal for some reason. They have some srs American pride in Kentucky. It's lots of food and fireworks, and stuff, though.
In South Korea there's a few holidays that celebrate their independence. There's the actual independence day which is March 1 Constitution day July 17 and Liberation day August 15
You don't get a day off on Constitution day, but you do for the others. c:

In Canada, we celebrate on July 1st.
All the capitals and big cities hold huge parades. Since I live in the second smallest capital here, the parade isn't very big. It is usually held right before lunch. Big companies or city groups ( like the filipino society! ) have floats, the smaller companies have cars, and anyone else who wants to join walk or bike. In the bigger cities almost everyone has floats and hold the parades in the evening and have fireworks after! It's really fun!
